Henry-David Varema: Bach Cello Suites No. 2

Renowned cellist Henry-David Varema has performed at prestigious venues worldwide, including Wigmore Hall (London), Théâtre du Châtelet (Paris), Berlin Philharmonie, Carnegie Hall Weill Hall (New York), Tokyo Suntory Hall, and Sydney City Recital Hall. He has also appeared at major festivals such as Gstaad, Rheingau, Salzburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Edinburgh.
Since 2001, he has taught cello and chamber music at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and currently serves as Vice-Rector for Artistic Activities and International Relations. In 2025, he received the annual award from the Estonian Cultural Endowment for outstanding performances as a soloist and chamber musician.
The concert program features J.S. Bach cello solos, as well as works by Philip Glass and Tõnu Kõrvits.
British–Estonian Christmas Gala: 5-Course Dinner with Selected Wines

On 13 December, Vihula Manor invites you to a special festive evening, where British Army chefs from the Op CABRIT mission and Vihula’s Head Chef will come together to create a unique five-course dinner, paired with selected wines.
To make your evening truly memorable, we offer two options:
• CONCERT + Five-Course Dinner with sommelier-selected wines and live piano music – 95 EUR
• Five-Course Dinner Only with sommelier-selected wines and live piano music – 85 EUR
Schedule:
17:00 – Cello concert by David Varema: Bach’s Solo Cello Suites No. 2
18:30 – Five-course dinner with wine pairing by sommelier Aivar Peedul and live piano music.
The enchanting manor atmosphere will be complemented by live piano music throughout the dinner, while the chefs and sommelier share the story behind the menu and the fusion of flavors from two different countries.
Christmas Concerts – Kalle Sepp and the Ensemble Noorkuu

Birgit Sarrap & Mihkel Mattisen – Christmas Concert

Venue: Constance Hall, Vihula Manor
Birgit Sarrap and Mihkel Mattisen have shared a long musical journey together, including collaborating on the Eurovision 2013 entry “Et uus saaks alguse”, written by Mihkel. Mihkel has contributed as songwriter and producer to Birgit’s last two albums, and the duo regularly performs both as an acoustic pair and with the beloved band The Swingers.
After 13 years, they return to take audiences on a festive Christmas journey across Estonia, performing all-time favorite holiday songs in an intimate and joyful concert experience.
