07.06.2011 Unique Hotels Group opened the Vihula Manor Holiday Village project at Vihula Manor Country Club & Spa, situated in the stunning Lahemaa National Park, 93 km from Tallinn.

Regional Minister, Siim Valmar Kiisler, who opened the new tourist attraction and exciting summer destination said: “The restoration works of Vihula Manor that has been carried out is a good example of how a site has been very cleverly and expertly developed in a cultural heritage envirronment. The venture will contribute to the necessary creation of jobs outside of the Harju County and to the development of the region as a whole.”

The Vihula Manor Holiday Village has now completed four sections of a total of 15 projects under development: the historic Water Mill has been meticulously renovated to the best preserved functioning Water Mill in Estonia and houses now Visitor Centre, Post Office, Manor Museum, Lifestyle Cafe and a Design & Fashion Shop; The Blacksmiths House has been developed into Vihula Manor Leisure Centre for up to 100 persons; the Kaval-Ants Tavern & Terrace is offering traditional Estonian food has also been completed following the success of its sister venue in Tallinn; and the Vihula Manor Sports Arena can be used for a multitude of sporting and team events all year round…..tennis, football, basketball, volleyball, ice skating etc.

Two further projects will be completed within this summer including the 18-hole Vihula Manor Mini-Golf “themed” on the Baltic States. It will be the largest mini-golf facility in the Baltic and offers both educational and entertaining quality. And Vihula Manor Eco-Farm will be featuring a variety of farm animals, including horses and Aberdeen Black Angus cattle. The remaining projects are being completed by spring 2012.
