VIHULA MANOR VODKA MUSEUM (E-NEWS)
One of the exiting new features, which has now been opened to the public, is Vihula Manor Vodka Museum in the 19th century Distillery. Vodka distillation was historically one of the main economical activities of the estate. Initially the production was covering only the needs of the estate itself, but later the production was expanded and a vast part of the vodka production was sold to the state. By the turn of the 19th century a large 3-storey stone building was constructed to further expand the distillation of vodka. This Distillery now houses the Vodka Museum with exhibits related to the history of vodka destillation in Estoina and at Vihula Manor and reception rooms for degustations, meetings and seminars.
