Viking Longship Adventure in Käsmu

There are long seagoing traditions in Käsmu. Longships have been built in Käsmu and there has been a school for sailors there.

The adventure begins at the Käsmu Sea Museum. Aarne Vaik will guide a tour at the museum, ancient handicraft skills are shown and everyone can make jewellery for themselves. After this, we will board the longship at the Käsmu port. The longship will depart from the port with your help. Everyone on board will row the longship to the bay themselves and there the sail will be hoisted. The longship will take aboard 14 persons, one or two of which are the crew members.

In order for the boat to depart the port, there has to be at least 6 persons rowing.
The price for the main package for a group of 10-14 persons is 240 EUR.
The package is includes the longship ride, a tour at the museum, demonstration of handicraft skills and weapons.
